Surco started with something very simple: the need to find furniture for our children that truly felt right in our home.
As mothers, we were looking for pieces that were practical, but also beautiful—furniture we could bring into our space without compromising our style. But we couldn’t find it.
Everything felt the same: too white, too light, too temporary. Furniture designed for children, but not for real life.
We wanted something different.
We wanted real wood. Texture. Warm, substantial materials. Strong, well-made pieces. Furniture designed to last, and to support the everyday life of a home with children.
That’s how Surco came to life.
We design and produce in Madrid, inspired by our roots and a way of living more connected to nature. We work with wood in its most honest form—its texture, its character, its imperfections—because we believe in what is real, and in what only gets better over time.
We create furniture for homes with children. Pieces that are made to last, and that naturally become part of the space.

We work with finishes that are safe for everyday living, using non-toxic, water-based treatments that preserve the natural character of the wood while ensuring a healthy environment at home.
