WHAT IS SURCO?
Created for homes where play and imagination shape the moments you never plan, but always remember. Designed with intention, crafted with texture, and made to last.
OUR STORY
Surco began with something very simple: the need to find furniture for our children that actually felt right in our home.
As mothers, we were looking for pieces that were practical, but also beautiful—furniture we could bring into our space without compromising our style. But we couldn't find it.
Everything felt the same: too white, too bright, too temporary. Furniture designed for children, but not for real life.
We wanted something different.
We wanted real wood. Texture. Warm, substantial materials. Strong, well-made pieces. Furniture designed to last and to support the daily life of a home with children.
That is how Surco came to life.
We design and produce in Madrid, inspired by our roots and a way of living more connected to nature. We work with wood in its most honest form—its texture, its character, its imperfections—because we believe in what is real and what only improves with time.
We create furniture for homes with children. Pieces made to last that naturally become a part of the space.
Surco is not just children's furniture. It is a way of living at home: warmer, more authentic, more intentional.
Furniture made to stay.
RESPONSIBLE SUSTAINABILITY
At Surco, we believe that true sustainability begins with how things are made —and why.
We design and produce our furniture in Madrid, working closely with trusted workshops that share our commitment to quality, responsibility, and craftsmanship. We carefully select our materials, prioritizing wood from responsibly managed sources and processes, respecting both the environment and the people behind every piece.
Our approach is simple: do things well and make them last.
We work with finishes that are safe for daily life, using non-toxic, water-based treatments that preserve the natural character of the wood and ensure a healthy home environment.
